Larry was a caring and dedicated funeral director for more than 50 years. He joined the Marine Corps after high school to serve in the Korean War. After his three-year tour, he moved to St. Petersburg, FL, where he met and married the love of his life, Deanna. In 1970, he relocated his family to Daytona Beach to join the funeral home known then as Baggett-McIntosh. By 1973, the name was changed to Baggett & Summers Funeral Home to reflect his co-ownership.
